HUNGR on Dingus and Earmilk
This project was recorded a few weeks back and immediately released 2 songs to Bandcamp. It got picked up (how I have no idea) by some guys at this brooklyn music blog, Dingus, and then another one called Earmilk… You’ve gotta read it, their reaction is hysterical. Dingus also put one of these tracks on their latest compilation… these songs are like a month old, love it.
Cloud Nothings Live Album
These guys their last live show at the grog shop recorded and it was released by Car Park Records as a free download. Live sound and all post production by Bad Racket’s charismatic James King Kananen. It was featured all over the web. Stereogum, Pitchfork, Altpress, Earbuddy, MuchMusic, Consequence of Sound and a few dozen more blogs. Check it out, download the album or wait for them to release it on vinyl very soon.
Live from Bad Racket: Black Taxi featured on Baeble Music
April’s live from Bad Racket with Black Taxi was delayed until May, but released yesterday on BaebleMusic.com and is now viewable from Badracket.com and Vimeo.
It’s a pretty great capture of how a recording session happens here. Most tracking done live with a little bit of overdubs for vocals. Next ‘live from’ will be out in a few weeks as we’re trying to catch up. JUNE 7th THADDEUS A. GREENE Album Release At Bad Racket.
We’re hosting Thaddeus’ CD release show in a few weeks, been excited about this for a while. Byob party like usual with Dave Hammer’s Power Supply and possibly a couple more bands opening, Ticket is 7 bucks on eventbrite. We’ll give away a bunch of comps too, post on our facebook or twitter if you want one.
