Between sessions, we’ve been building a new website to shine a brighter light on the talent that comes through our door.  We’ve added session interviews, an easier way to browse the Live from Bad Racket video series, and many more sound snippets from past projects.  We hope you enjoy it 🙂

Part 3 of 4 of the Bad Racket Compilation Release Show Series, Celebrating ‘Live from Bad Racket Vol. 1’ with artists who have appeared on the award winning video series. RSVP TO THE Facebook EVENT PAGE AND GET A FREE COPY OF THE ALBUM AT THE SHOW.

This is the indie showcase of groups who have been featured on our video series Lighthouse & The Whaler, The Womack Family Band, Humble Home.

Additional to all of this going on, Lighthouse will be heading out on tour with Jukebox The Ghost and Matt Pond PA for a few months. Humble Home will be playing their last show with their current line, and we’re welcoming a phenomenal new group into the family of Bad Racket, Seafair. I know the show starts early, but don’t get there late!

#BRITE Line ups Literally, just announced today. 48 bands on 6 stages. Completely free. It’s a small miracle that Brite Winter happens every year, but I’m really happy to put all the work into that I do. About half the groups on the lineup are from Northeast Ohio, the other half are from all over the east coast/midwest. Don’t Miss This.

Show at Bad Racket! Annabel and Run, Forever both have new albums out, and State Lines has an album coming out later this month, come check it out on January 18th! Plus we put up some new walls and did some more expansion to the studio. The show starts at 8:30, $5 at the door but RSVP on facebook too, space is limited.

Lottery League Draft Part rock n’ roll circus, part game show, part city-wide art project, The Lottery League returns to Cleveland’s music scene in 2013.  This year’s Lottery League begins with Draft Night, which takes place at the Beachland Ballroom and Tavern on Friday February 1st.
