It’s finally here, this compilation features the audio tracks from the first 12 videos in the “Live From Bad Racket” video series. The bands are really diverse, but all of them are special to us and important to this incredible music scene growing up in Ohio right now. Much love to all these guys (and a few gals too)
Obviously all of this music is free and you can listen to it on vimeo whenever you want, but purchasing the album, as a CD or as a download, helps us a ton to keep the studio and the video series rolling strong.
The album officially releases in iTunes and Amazon on November 20th, but If you “pre-order” on bandcamp, you can actually download all the tracks now. Also, some local retail shops will be carrying the album starting on November 20th (support them too!) For East-siders Music Saves, Ohio City – Room Service, and Lakewood – The Root Cafe.
We’re probably crazy, but instead of having one release show we decided to celebrate the release with 4 shows featuring bands on the comp+many more. The first show will be at Bad Racket (4507 Lorain Ave in Ohio City) on November 16th, featuring Signals Midwest, Ma Jolie, Worship This!, and En Garde. In December we’ll be at Mahall’s 20 Lanes, then The Beachland Ballroom in January, and closing out the show series at The Grog Shop on Ground Hogs day. – Each show is catered to a little bit different genre of music, check out all those listing below, or on facebook.
