Vocal Recording Booth

Recording Booth

The recording booth is used for recording vocals and instruments. It’s attached with windows to the live room and the control room. It is our second isolation room, which is our primary vocal booth for capturing a tight dry sound. This room has hardwood floors, an acoustic cloud, and absorptive panels on all sides. Having great sight lines into both the control room and live room makes for easy communication. Being able to see into both the control room and live room makes the recording process comfortable and communication easy and natural. This room doubles as a great room for isolating acoustic guitars while drums are tracking in the live room, or isolating a guitar amp or bass amp.

Large-Live-Room

Live Room

We believe the live room must feel comfortable in order for you to perform well. Having this in mind, our professionally designed live room has over 1000 Sq. Ft. of floor space so you can spread out. Dim the lights and play as a band. With no parallel walls, soaring ceilings, acoustic absorption and diffusion panels, unique wood walls, and a ceiling cloud, your musical instruments will sound great in here. Drum Recording especially benefits from being in a larger space, giving them a natural ambience. Our live room has the potential for full on pumping and washed out goodness, to a tight and controlled sound, It can yield whatever tone your project requires. Coupled with isolation rooms, quality microphones, and years of experience, your recordings will sound great coming from our live room.

Control Room

The control room is one of the most important rooms in the recording studio. It is where all the critical listening that determines creative choices about the recordings is done. Having a room with accurate frequency response, stereo imaging, and appropriate decay times is essential. In order to ensure the control room sounds its best, it has been acoustically treated with an absorptive ceiling cloud, rear diffusion, corner bass traps, and absorptive panels throughout. Having a room with the proper frequency response and proper stereo imaging, as well as appropriate decay times is important to getting great sounding mixes and translate well to many environments. Our expert engineers, Henri and James record, mix and master all types of music and audio for CD, vinyl, film, commercials, tape, or the internet. Loaded with an all analog Soundcraft B800 vintage recording console, quality converters, and phenomenal acoustics this control room is a studio workhorse.
