Does Justin Bieber Use Autotune? People want to know.
People want to know. Does Justin Bieber Use Autotune? Yes. He does. Justin Bieber uses auto-tune and so do a lot of other artists. We can use auto-tune as an effect on your voice, or not. It’s your choice. We don’t use it every time, and we don’t like using it if we don’t have to. In fact, let’s record it without auto-tune first. That way we can really hear what’s going on in the song, if it holds up, we can add auto-tune after and it can sound like T-Pain’s Antares type vocal processing. Can auto tune make anyone sing? No. It will make a bad singer worse. A bad song worse. It can even make a good singer, and a good performance sound worse if its not done properly. Auto tune isn’t genius or the future of music. Even now the sound is dated. Cher was doing that stuff in the 90s. Whether its Melodyne, Logic Pitch correction, Autotune Evo, or Antares AVOX 4 and beyond, it’s not going to make or break your music. Your individual performance and the quality of the engineering and production makes a bigger difference, than anything else you might use to tune transform or enhance your vocal. Autotune isn’t a fix all tool, or a magic plugin that can make anyone sing. It’s just another tool in your creative toolbox. It’s your music. You can choose to not use it, or use it slightly, or use it in large quantities. Let’s take it to 100 if you want to go there, then let’s roll it back to 95% maybe, or at least have a conversation about what you want or what your vision is for the vocals. You’re the artist! Lets work together!
