About
We’re a Cleveland band. Intrigued? We thought so…
Biography
Uh…… Stanton and John Neely had played together in a prior band (Tokyo Storm Warning), and both Johns had worked together for many years at the Grog Shop, and John Kalman’s band Roue had ceased to exist, and, well.. the three of them got together and started fucking around. This happened maybe twice before John Kalman decided he wanted to play guitar instead of bass (he plays bass very well – in fact you can catch him “bassing” now in Terminal Lovers). John and John had known Carol for many years, and had seen her play bass in a lot of really awesome bands – The Tough & Lovely, The Librarians, The Plastics, Reigning Sound, and even on Conan O’Brian backing Mary Weiss from the Shangri-Las…… Anyhow, we drunkenly asked her one night if she would play with us – and she said “Yes”! Still not sure why, but boy we’re glad she did!
