Bad Racket V.5.0 Update
Just a quick email to let you all know James will be managing the Bad Racket email list. Many new changes are just around the corner! We’re sorry to see Thomas and Burt go, and we wish them all the best in what the future holds. To infinity and beyond!
A lot of people have asked me what this means for Bad Racket, or if we’re closing our doors. The answer is an emphatic NO! We are currently booking Recording / Mixing / Mastering projects in December / January! Give me (James) a call at 216 905 5714 or james@badracket.com if you’d like to talk about a project or schedule a tour of our facility.
What does the future of Bad Racket look like? Big changes in store for December and beyond. We will be moving our studio to a NEW LOCATION downtown near E. 25th St. and Superior, in the shadow of skyscrapers. We will be keeping the Ohio City location open for awhile during a transition period (or perhaps permanently as a Studio B?). The new location was originally designed by Case Western University is already built out with isolation rooms, and a larger live room, and has been used by many different people over the years. It’s pretty sweet. More tantalizing details in the future, but we don’t even know when the new location will be officially open yet so hold tight!
Also, we’d like to officially welcome Henri Rapp and Dave Polster to our engineering team. Henri and Dave helped us out in the very beginning building the studio out, and helped out on quite a few sessions including Signals Midwest Light on the Lake.
Interested in a internship or employment opportunities at Bad Racket? We’d love to hear your ideas at play@badracket.com Our dream is to help you achieve your dreams.
Love,
James
